<p>This should be bumped because I know a lot of people here are applying to choate, especially with financial aid</p>
<p>"Director of Admissions Ray Diffley stated that although his office typically mails out 1,500 decisions on March 10th, Admissions is about 5% (approximately 75 decisions) or more ahead of that number this year."</p>
<p>What does this mean? 75 more applicants this year, or 75 more admissions?</p>
<p>i think maybe it means 5% more applications?
Looking at the 43 states, it makes me think "ahhh what if i'm one of those 43!"
i can't wait anymore, but i want to wait for snail mail (:</p>
<p>hmmm. "typically 1500" doesn't sound like an accurate count, and just 75 more applications this year? Isn't that trivial? Interesting.</p>
