<p>Are you thinking that Miami is part of a Florida state school system? They are a private university. You have a great chance of being admitted from out of state, just check the stats on their website that show where their students come from. My son will be starting in the fall, and we're in So California. Yes, people ask why go 3,000 miles away to live at another coast, but the programs are great, the people are wonderful and we know it is the right decision for him.
