I'd say that for Ross pre-admit applicants, essays and ECs are very important. To all other applicants, I'd say ECs and essays are of secondary important.

And although GPA and curriculum (class seclection and difficulty) are the most important criteria, SAT/ACT scores aren't far behind. You cannot have a 4.0 having taken a bunch of easy classes and get a 23/1100 on the ACT/SAT and expect to get in. Not going to happen.

Ok... thanks Alexandre

I was thinkn bout that because the difference between a regular class and a AP class at my high school is huge...... lik HUGE......so im glad they will take that into consideration

Admission requirements:

* Essay(s) required
* SAT Reasoning or ACT with writing Required
* SAT Subject Tests Required for Some

Very important admission factors:

* Rigor of secondary school record

Important admission factors:

* Character/Personal Qualities
* Application Essay
* Racial/Ethnic Status
* Recommendations
* Standardized Test Scores
* State Residency
* Talent/Ability

Considered:

* Alumni Relation
* Class Rank
* Extracurricular Activities
* Geographical Residence
* Volunteer Work
* Work Experience
* Level of Applicant's Interest

Level of Applicant's Interest --- how do they determine that---

SAT Subject Tests Required for Some --- which ones---

None for LSA. Level of interest can be measured by the applicant visiting, going to local info sessions, joining the mailing list, etc.

SAT IIs are only required for homeschooled people and that sort of thing.

Level of interest can also be determined by time of application. Interested applicants know that their chances are optimal early in the process and generally apply well before November. Finally, I think the tone of one's essays and application neatness also show the level if interest one has for the institution.

hmmm good point alexandre.....

The more I learn bout Michigan the more I like...... i think the harders part will be adapting to the weather.....

I live in a city where the average temp is about 93 degrees
and ure lucky to see the 50s in the winter.... and even the 60s is rarity

Let me tell you, Arizona is nippy compared to the place I grew up (the UAE) and I managed just fine at Michigan. The cold is overstated. It really isn't that bad once you get the requisite items of clothing (something warm to cover the head and ears, a good down coat and thick, waterproof boots.

hey........ lets not call Arizona nippy.... lol..... all i want is to be able to wear my new michigan sweatshirt during the winter..... is that to much to ask?
