The mid 25%-75% ACT scores are 28-31
Mid 25%-75% SAT scores are 1890-2180
Hope this helps you! I want to go there too!

I think shoot for in between the two numbers above^. This would amount to about a 30 on the ACT and just over 2000 on the SAT. That being said, there’s no guarantee. Also know that if money is an issue NYU may not be the best option. They are one of the most expensive schools in the nation and I’ve heard from students there that the financial aid given is not nearly enough and its a constant struggle to get more from the school. On top of that, living in the city is very expensive. Student housing is expensive, too.

I agree with “Aim for 2070+ on the SAT or a 30+ on the ACT” but it also depends on which school in NYU you want to go for. Stern and CAS are really difficult, while the other schools are slightly easier but still competitive. a GPA of 3.67 wouldn’t really help your chances, but a solid activity/character profile and a really good test score could possibly make up for it. I had a terrible GPA, worse than yours, but I got a 2250 SAT, 34 ACT, 700+ in my SAT subjects tests, and I explained to NYU my reason for such a bad GPA, and I got in.
