<p>so i got admitted as undeclared, but i applied for the business program which i didnt get into..sigh...so what does that mean? does it mean that if i choose to go to the university of illinois i cant major in business? or can i reapply for the business school my freshman year in university of illinois? Why would i go to university of illinois if i cant major in what i want to major in? What is the point in that? why not just reject me and get it over with?</p>
<p>Of course it has been many years for me, but I transferred in college of Commerce after my sophomore year at Illinois.....I spent the first two years in LAS. Yes, it is competitive, but if you have a goal of transferring, you should be able to as long as you take the right courses and keep up your grades. Many people do the same thing....even those who think they want to be in engineering will be trying to transfer into business after 1 or 2 years.</p>

<p>accept your admissions, work extremely hard your first year and try to get straight A's and be involved on campus. at the end of 2nd semester, you can apply for a transfer if you have taken the required courses. write good essays, show good grades and involvement and you should be able to get in. however, if you do not...you cannot apply again.</p>

<p>correct, you cannot apply for a transfer until the very end of your second semester. it doesn't matter in the end, you'll still be taking gen. ed. courses your first year.</p>

<p>there was a piece of yellow paper with "heard that you're interested in kelley", and on the paper there are requirements and what i should do to get into kelley(something about applying on my sophomore year, or after completing 26 hrs of credits?). so obviously, i dont think i made it to kelley.</p>

<p>Sorry for Kelley specifically you get a letter. But for Indiana itself you can find out if you got in by logging in to your account and hitting decision or something. If they have decided it will be there.</p>
<p>I got directly admitted in Kelley because I have a good ACT score and GPA, you may be in the same boat.</p>
