Admit decisons before Feb. 29

Did they email y’all or did it say on the website??? I’m flipping out!!!

Good lord what is GOING ON. I’VE GOT NOTHING.

@fleetfoxes: I’m in Dallas.
@UTSTANFORD: Just on the MyStatus so far.

Accepted aljdbiladufhoiadfa

I can’t believe I was rejected. I’m not even crying at this point.
I have like a 4.4 GPA, in NHS, Indian classical dance for 12 years and wrote a good essay about wanting to study South Asia, and founded an organization to send refugees to summer camp. I guess it wasn’t what they were looking for.
Even with what I thought were strong stats I was also rejected from UVA, U-Chicago, and Emory, and deferred from U-Mich. (Yeah, I really don’t care what people think anymore, I’m just going to list them all anyway.)

I don’t know what I’m doing next year. I don’t have anywhere to go that I would actually want to (only got into my safety schools). I wanted to go here more than anything in the world and this was my last school to hear from that actually matters. Gap year maybe?

Sincere congratulations to those that did get in.

OMG ACCEPTED INTO MY FIRST CHOICE MAJOR  Congrats everyone who got in!

YES accepted first choice in CNS! Can’t wait to go to UT next year, and good luck to everyone else. I’m OOS btw

…to business LOL OH WELL INTERNAL TRANSFER

my stats are
1500 SAT
3.5 GPA
Involved in many “after-school” programs such as theater
I am also home-schooled
3’s and 4’s on AP exams
I stated I had ADD, al earning disability which affects my testing ability maybe I should have not stated that.
I guess because I had a low SAT score even though UT is not too much into SAT scores compared to other colleges
Good Luck to you guys

ACCEPTED! Got my second choice major, Social Work, but I’ll likely transfer to Liberal Arts. Congrats to everyone, hope to see you in Austin next year!

My friend didn’t get into the business school :(.

Accepted to second major, aerospace engineering.

There is a god, and he lives in austin.

zafrina what were your friends stats?!

My friend got undeclared :(

CONGRATS EVERYONE!!! And to the ones that didn’t get in, remember that everything happens for a reason.

She was instate, top 3%, her SAT was low though  only an 1800 and ACT was a 26. Many extra-curriculars and many leadership positions. She’s not going to UT. :(

Accepted! She is Pre-Journalism in College of Communication!

Awww :frowning: I think my SAT pushed me through.

Sorry to hear about your friend, ZafrinaKnight. I’m actually only in the top 13% of my class, 2030 SAT and 29 ACT. I don’t have that many EC’s though, let alone leadership positions. I’m instate as well.

I also got undeclared :(, but my school’s college counselor sas that it is easier to internal transfer than getting in at first. Congrats to everyone though, you all deserve it for your hard work.
