I dont know this bilal person but he sounds like a really awesome person. Im honored to share a birthday with him.

omg you’re bilal LOL quit trolling me hi bilal

How about this guys. How about we stop speculating and just wait. Let’s not get all of our hopes up so that they can just be crushed. Just wait until someone posts that they’ve been accepted/rejected/CAP’ed.
The end.

Hi natalie

hhah the 80% thing is actually on the website. NO Lie. but like the other 20 %…i mean lets be honest here…they are probably going to reserve a number of seats for alumni students…They do this at every school!!

OOS D accepted last year around 5pm. Everyone heard at the same time, capped, accepted, denied, wait listed. They have a lot of applicants and it takes time to load. Good luck and I’m sure a lot of you will be accepted, especially when I look at some of the stats.

don’t forget all the seats they reserve for athletes, musicians etc…i’m not even in the top 20 percent…■■■

I thought UT doesn’t care about legacy since there are so many Texas exes

I received an email this morning, in reply to an email I had sent admissions concerning a transcript issue. The name is the only thing that has been changed.

Being an alumni’s child may help if you are a large contributor to the university and the Dean knows you by name. My wife and I went to UT. My father was a Dean at UT. At no time has this information been requested or considered by UT in the admission decision for my son.

carmom said they sent all the decisions at once last year, so if the el paso guy is right, we should all be finding out in 7 minutes! good luck everyone!

True. Sometimes being a legacy/alum can hurt. That’s what they told us.

Still nothing…

I’ve had a headache all day in anticipation…
