heh, sure. :(

I'm out in the Wild West, so I won't hear until a day or two after all you lucky East Coasters do. :

Here's what the deferral envelope looks like.

(no, he didn't post this on his blog, but I found it)

http://web.mit.edu/firstyear/2009/

I don't think this site is ready for public consumption yet, because some of the links either don't work or point to the 2008 site. Nevertheless...

does anyone know if the list of admits in the mit admissions office for early admissions is a rumor or true?

my friend says she definitely looked through the binder for regular decisions for the class of '07, but doesn't remember anything specific about ea or recent years. can anyone confirm/negate this now? crosses fingers

cuz then theoretically, if you have connections at mit, you could find out... well, now. ahh.....

I doubt that they would be offering this list before admitted applicants have a chance to officially hear from Admissions.

Read The Tech from around March. The admitted applicant info was offered in room 10-100 around mid-March. I don't remember seeing anything saying that it would be offered in December, however I do think that EA admits would be in the list in March as well as RD folks.

Even if there was such a list, they would not let just anyone see it. Even if you dont get your letter on time and call them, they wont release your status to anyone but you yourself so its probably false.

I wonder if anyone who lives near Boston will get their letter today (Sat)?

We'll find out. If people start screaming "OMG deferred" etc. we'll know right away. :)

Well sadly I did not get mine. WHY ISN'T IT MONDAY! (wow, I can't believe I just said that)
