Admit rate drop?

this year is gonna be messed up
ppl admitted will be on the waiting list waiting for the upper crust to make their decision and it'll ripple down through every applicant. can you imagine this madness going on until the summer!? =0

Exactly, pyn. That's why I think the yield for MOSAIC is really low. Though, for Vandy, any yield higher than 10% would be good for it. Haha.

And thanks, rockerguy. I'm hoping Vandy will realize that I may not have amazing test scores, but I work REALLY hard. But I'll probably get waitlisted and have to wait until long into the summer like the above poster said. Aww.

Hello all,

A quick correction for those keeping score at home: over the past two years MOSAIC has yielded students at an 39.4% rate.

Thanks,
Brad

Thanks Brad.

Now that we have the figured, I've stopped doing math now. It's not worth it to do the numbers anymore. I just have to wait a week.

Holla at ya boy, Brad!!!

So the MOSAIC yield is higher than the rest of the RD yield, so MOSAIC is working. Remember that Vandy's overall yield is at 40%, which includes both the 100% yield of ED I/II and the yield of RD. That means that the RD yield has to be lower than 40%.

Thanks Brad for clearing everything up

Wow. I meant figures in my last post. I'm awesome.

As for MOSAIC, I guess actually going to the campus helps, rather than just being admitted early. I mean, no one can deny Vanderbilt's beauty.

areyouserioussss: lulz.

rockerguy: We could probably do the math of the actual RD yield percentage, but I'll just guess a yield of ~30% and that they'll accept ~3000 kids RD.
