For those of you visiting, are you guys going over spring break or admit week?

I can't make admit week coz I've got finals pretty much around that time so I am probably going around February which is our Chinese New Year Break. Is that the same as spring break for you?

admit weekend!

Admit weekend was really boring for me for some reason. If you guys don't end up liking admit weekend I assure you that the school itself is much more fun when you actually go here. Don't turn into a Sarah Bell! :)

Ugh, can we not mention that name? Except in Gaieties, that made my day. I loved Admit Weekend, and whatever you do don't come during our spring break (3rd week of March). Almost no-one will be around. (I will, but I'm a local, and working on a show that goes up first week of April).

Come to Admit Weekend! I am über psyched for it. :-D

editeditedit

yea i think i'm going to go during admit weekend

It's such bad timing for me. Everything happens in April/May: competitions, exams. But I really want to go to Admit Weekend, and might be able to. Is it worth it? (They did send a travel grant...) Do we stay in the dorms?

do a lot of internationals go to admit week? its like 16hrs away for me.... i can't go right before/during finals!

when is admit week by the way? also, if we are admitted to several schools, will admit days overlap? does that mean we can only attend one? thanks

admit weekend is April 29- May 1st i think

april 28-30. Thursday through Saturday. my prom is actually that saturday hmm. but i'm so excited about admit weekend! i'll be there.

are you're parents coming to admit weekend? Mine aren't but what about you guys?:)

Definitely go to admit weekend if you can. It's not exactly representative of what campus is like normally (though at times it's just as exciting, if not more), but you'll be able to see a lot more stuff than you would if you just stayed with someone during a normal week.

And an extra plug: I think Harvard's pre-frosh weekend is in the same time frame (at least it was last year), and Stanford offers a lot more during their admit weekend while Harvard had mostly just a bunch of panels and information sessions that I fell asleep during. Of course visit as many campuses as you can, but if you're choosing between 2, go to Stanford's!
