Just got my admit decision .Do you know when they process the scholarship apps?

Congratulations. Did you find out on the bealonghorn site?

i think its around april...although im not positive on that...

Me Too! Plan II Honors Program Baby!! =]]]

anyone know of any people getting rejected yet?

it seems the long i wait the less it looks like ill get accepted

rejection letters wont come out until april 1. right now, only acceptances are occurring, and that is for the top 10% texans. after thats all done and over with, other applications that are not in the top 10% will be looked at and those results, whether accepted or rejected, will be ready by 4/1. good luck.

tuke - they must be evaluating non auto-admits as well. The OP is not in-state.

I submitted my application to McCombs in November last year, but still have not heard anything yet. I am OOS. My rank is 4/451. SAT single setting score is 1440 (780M, 660V), many leadership positions both in and out of high school. How long does it take to process OOS application?

Ouch. I applied Plan II and engineering, and thought I had good stats, but as of today, zilch. I'm OOS (out of country, in fact).

i got scholarship information in the mail about a week ago...out of state waiver + 2k a year for engineering

They are definitely not only admitting the top 10% currently. I'm out of state, as well as far from the top 10% of my class, and i heard a week or two ago.

what is the difference between plan II honors program, and just honors program?

plan ii's in the college of liberal arts. there are various other honors programs (engineering, business, natural sciences, etc)

Rejected from the Engineering Honors ... sigh... :(

BTW: How competitive is the honors program in UT? Is it as competitive as the Ivies?
