Admitted Academically to JMU

<p>Our daughter just found out Friday that she was admitted academically to JMU! That in itself was a pretty big hurdle. 23,000 applicants and only 4,106 incoming freshmen accepted. Wow!</p>

<p>We have read about the MT notification process here on CC that in previous years letters go out after the admissions office makes their decision. Is that still the case or are phone calls made or emails sent? If it is still a letter that is mailed, when will those go out?</p>

<p>Letters are the primary way that students are notified of their acceptance to the program. Letter will be sent over the course of this week. Not too much longer to wait!</p>
