Hello, everyone. I'll try and keep this as short as possible. I'm 24, 25 in June. I'm finishing up my fifth semester at a community college and I have completed 61 credit hours with a 3.77 gpa in CompSci.

I have applied to the following:
Rutgers - New Brunswick (still waiting)
Rutgers - Newark (still waiting)
Rutgers - Camden (admitted)

UNC - Chapel Hill (still waiting)
UNC Greensboro (still waiting)

U of Connecticut (Rejected)

I received word from Rutgers-Camden about 2 weeks ago that they had admitted me. I had expected to hear from them before the other two Rutgers campuses. I just found out this morning that I was not admitted to Connecticut, which was a major blow to my self-esteem. It makes me think that I have absolutely no shot at any other schools now except for UNC Greensboro (and Camden who has already accepted me, of course).

It's worth mention that over 7 years ago I was convicted of a felony and that may be playing a role in not getting into Connecticut and being accepted to Camden. Is it worth keeping my hopes up on the other Rutgers campuses and UNC - Chapel Hill, or is the UCONN rejection a good indication of what's to come?

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks.
