NOTE: During December 4th – 15th, you will not be able to view a decision on your Application Summary because we are currently working to post all decisions. You will be able to view your admission decision on December 15th after 5pm CST. REMINDER: All official decisions will be sent through the US mail.

Based on that... it seems that polluxs' info may be correct.

anyone else gettin butterflies?

I hope i get through....

Is it possible to get the decision in mail before Dec. 15?

good luck to all!

Interesting. It would be 3 am on Dec 16 for us. :D

A bit steep f0r me, but is what I am gathering fr0m all 0f this is that all decisi0ns have been made, but they still w0n't be 0n the site until the 15th? Will they be sent 0ut in the mail bef0re then?

yeah. perhaps i'll sleep early that night and wake up at 3am! haha..

I have read on this thread that one of the possible decisions on December 15 will be that the applicant can be deferred. When I went on the UIUC website under "Decisions," no choice for deferred is given. The choices are various degrees of "Admit and Deny." Can anyone clarify for me? Thanks.

http://www.oar.uiuc.edu/future/freshmen/app_status.html#complete

Yes, you can receive a deferred message.

I understand that...but it is confusing. My son's status is already "Complete, Ready for Review...manual review required." Deferred isn't listed as a choice under the "Decision Made" list. They should have put "deferred" as one of the "decision" choices.

Well deferred means they haven't made a decision, they are waiting until later to A or D. Hence the reason deferred isn't listed under the "Decision Made" list.

Mine is currently at the manual review required stage because my school doesn't rank. For all non-ranked students, UIUC does a manual review like that.

Yea the same applies to me coz my school doesn't rank.

my school ranks, but i still have a manual review

my school doesnt rank either. but it didnt say manual review

Hmm, this is getting weird. I think the office manually reviews all students with schools that don't give gpa.

i have GPA too! lol

maybe cos my highest qualification is a diploma?
