Ouch… this is not a good weekend for me. Got rejected from Williams yesterday and I just checked my mail to find a rejection letter from Swarthmore and a wait-list from Pomona. Now I am scared to see another rejection from Amherst… Oh well, I still have Northwestern and Bowdoin. Ahhh

Ahh thanks, Moda. It happens, I guess My school doesn’t really have a relationship with/send people to NESCAC schools so I guess I thought I’d buck the trend and failed. Miserably. I’m upset, but the salutatorian was waitlisted at Amherst and Williams and my grades are far from hers so I can’t be too down on myself. I guess I just have to pray for Ivies, now, which are a completely different ballgame. Not harder or easier, really, just different. Congrats to your son on Midd, I saw that! Hopefully Amherst will go his way as well.

Where are you guys from? I am anxiously awaiting, but I live on the West Coast so may not get to me today…

kikiloose91, I live on the West Coast too! My guess is Monday or Tuesday! Usually takes about 3 days for mail from MA to get to CA…

WAITLISTED… IN Washington dc

I live in TX. Haven’t heard anything yet.

Got the letter today, southern california. Accepted.

shorts85, You got your letter today and you live in SoCal? Ahhh, I haven’t gotten one yet… Congratulations though. :)

BTW, was it regular mail? Or priority… Ahh. Scared now…

^My envelope didn’t specify which type of delivery service.

Okay, thank you, AmbitiousMind07. I think I’m just panicky and freaking out. I should just calm down and do something relaxing…

Can someone say what was the size and approximate thickness of acceptance envelope?

Thank you.

Received my acceptance letter today. I am over the moon thrilled!!! Congratulations to everyone! I cannot wait until this fall! :)

Acceptance was a 9 X 12 envelope - pretty thick.

Ahhh… I’ve been crocheting all weekend because of the rumors about Stanford decision… and then got rejected from Williams, and Swarthmore… Wait listed from Pomona… I’m trying to calm myself down… lol

Thanks you, Jessephen.

Twin brother and I both accepted- NYC.

Accepted Phoenix, AZ. 3.98 UW; 2350 SAT

Twins? Cool. I had two sets of identical twins in my graduating class. That was definitely fun.

Accepted in Phoenix as well.

I got my acceptance letter on Monday–yay! Now I have to decide between Amherst and Smith. They both have so much going for them in different ways…
