Admitted : Class of 2015!

Recently deferred, what are the chances of getting accepted RD from this if my senior grades are excellent?

asquared when did you apply and when did you find out?

applied november 1st, received the sad letter today.

I submitted my application on Nov. 1, and I still have not heard back from them. Could this be a good or bad thing?

What were your gpa and all asquared ?
Seems like its a tough year

anyone get accepted with a gpa below 4.0??? unweighted

i got accepted with a GPA 3.75 weighted meaning below that unweigted…about 3.6ish

I turned in everything around Nov. 7… When do you think i will hear back???
Also do you think it helps if there from the west coast?

It took about four weeks to hear back from Wake. I would expect you to hear back around late November/early December (first week maybe)

capesailor… did you send in your ACT/SAT scores?

Yes I sent mine- cr: 660 and math:780 total 1440, 2050

Has anyone heard back recently? I applied October 25, but have not heard back. When should I hear back?

did you hear back yankees10016? thats longer than a month it should have been ther by now

No, I have not. They said up to 6 weeks so I hope to hear this week. I am positive everything has been completed in my application file. Is it a bad sign it is taking this long?

To everyone that has been accepted that applied ED-

I applied ED November 17th, and I’m anxiously awaiting that big white envelope. Could someone that has been accepted let me know what my chances are of getting in? I have a 3.74 GPA weighted, and I didn’t send in my scores even though I got an 1850. I am president of the foreign language club. I have played two varsity sports a year for all four years. I was captain of the varsity volleyball team this year and captain of the junior varsity team my sophomore year. I also have done a ton of community service inside and outside school.

Someone please relieve some of my stress!

Yankees10016 - CALL THE ADMISSIONS OFFICE. My daughter was in your situation and it turned out that Wake had incorrectly filed the interviewer’s notes from her on campus interview and showed her status as incomplete. She told them she had completed the interview. They located the records immediately. She received her acceptance within 10 days - 2 weeks.

yankees10016… yes i would def call or email the admissions office… they usually get back in 3-4 weeks… Check with your high school and see when they sent the transcripts… if thats not the problem then i would call wake

I could not take it anymore, so I call Wake Forest today. They had not received the October 2010 ACT scores, nor did they receive one of the two recommendations sent. I called ACT and was advised they had sent scores. I was provided with a batch number and instructed to call Wake and advise the number, which I did. It was downloaded today. I was able to get the missing recommendation and have it faxed. I would not wait. Call and make sure they have everything you submitted or want submitted. Do not just accept general answers. Specifically ask, “do you have Ms. Smith’s recommendation.”

ilovevball - i’m waiting too! my stats are almost the same as yours! good luck, i hope you get in!

you too cassandranicole!!!
