Admitted community college TRANSFERS, post up!

This post is for newly admitted community college transfer students only.

As you know, us transfer students unfortunately will not all get to know our status on 3/15. We have a 1 month notification window from 3/15-4/15. :(

So if you are a transfer student and find out that you’re admitted or rejected by UC Davis, please post in this thread and let everyone know.

I just logged in and my status hasn't changed, still in review. Any TRANSFERS get accepted/denied yet?

Boo yah!!!!! I got accepted!!!!!! :D

Congratulations! We are pleased to offer you admission to the University of California, Davis for Fall Quarter 2007 in the Computer Engineering major. To see all that UC Davis offers you, please visit the Explore and Campus Resources sections to the right.

Davis is my 1st choice school, so it's a 99% likelihood that I'll be an Aggie.

I'm still awaiting status from UCLA, UCSD, and UCI, but honestly at this point, it doesn't mean much anymore since I have already made up my mind. :p

i got in as a UC transfer student =)

Applied as a transfer for fall 2007...decision not up yet.

I'm not a CC transfer though. I withdrew from NYU in the fall and am at SFSU right now. So it's kind of weird. lol

Congratulations CE Man! I was rooting for you. You will make a great Aggie with all of your spirit. You must feel really proud :)

Thanks collegemom16, yeah I'm so excited! My dad graduated from UC Davis 20 years ago, so this means alot to my parents. Also, I've lived in Northern CA my whole life, so UC Davis has always held a special place in my heart.

I'm in~~~~~~~~~~~~

CE Man my son will be applying to CE next year so perhaps you will meet eventually. His older sister is at UCD (2010) and she loves it. Enjoy the new football stadium. Have you seen it yet?

I haven't seen the new stadium in person, only in pictures. I'm not even sure where it's located. The campus is kinda hard to navigate by car. Are they almost finished with the project? Do you know when it will open?

Is your son gonna be an entering freshman or fransfer? Davis is a really good school for engineering. I checked the UCD website, and it said that there's over 3000 engineering students there so the department looks to be fairly large.

stupid question, where can we login?

i think i tried myucdavis but it wont accept any password i put in, and theres no way of recovering a lost password!

EDIT: nvm, i wasnt going to the myapplicant page DOH!

CE Man the stadium is located off of La Rue Road right next to the Schall Aquatic Center which is closest to the Tercero Dorms. (I think west of them) I'm horrible with directions, but I think it's the South side of the UCD campus. Last I heard the stadium will open for this fall. My son is presently a junior in high school.

They are still 'reviewing'

ok another question. i need to update my application because i had to drop one of my classes this semester, but i dont see anything allowing me to do that on the myadmissions website. i emailed them and they responded by saying thats where im supposed to report the change, but i dont see anything!

In! Non-CC transfer.

Arg... I'm an out of state student still waiting acceptance and denial. Is 4/15 an exact cut off date for notifaction? Or is it more May-ish?

They stated 4/15 as the last date, but I remember reading on their website somewhere that it could be 4/30 also.

I'm curious if notification dates from the different UC's correlates to when students submit their apps. I submitted mine at 11:56pm on 11/30, and as of today, I haven't heard crap from any of the other UC's I applied to yet. The only reason I got into Davis so early was because they have my approved TAA on file there, so they didn't need to review my app.

What date did you submit your UC application?

I submitted mine 11/30 pretty late at night. But if anything, the people who submitted on the extended deadlines should hear last. They extended the deadline twice. But I dunno how it works.
