Where are you going in the fall?

bump… bumppp

Princeton, of course. :D

(Although I think an irritating number of us are off to Yale… ).

Yea, I noticed that-- I wonder why? Princeton has a nicer town. And we’re closer to NYC… maybe Yale has more extensive academic offerings- but more importantly they have Sam Tsui and that great admissions video. lol… clearly im biased.

Hm… only if Pton kids made a viral video about their alma mater that would skyrocket admissions numbers.

We need a better admitted students website, dammit. I mean, did you see the Yale one?
And they send you letters from the alumni association, and brochures, and a T-shirt in the mail, and… They really bring across an enthusiasm for their admits. Princeton was more like, yeah, well, if you’re smart you’ll know what the right choice is (us, naturally), we don’t need to beg you… ;)

^idk, I think that’s more Harvard’s philosophy :). Princeton was more like, “We know you have great options, but we think you’ll love it here.”

I think you’re quite probably right. :)

^I agree – I sensed Harvard’s attitude toward us as prefrosh was akin to “you’re just lucky to be along for the ride,” whereas Princeton’s was more along the lines of “we’re lucky to have you.”

It warms the cockles of my heart to stumble across people who chose Princeton over Harvard. Yay, jr5570! ;)

Oh and don’t forgot the Princetonian title has a nice ring to it! But indeed, I do love those who choose Princeton over Harvard!
