Should I sign up for both or just do Monroe? Does the Monroe one cover the same stuff as the other part does?

I’m not sure, but I signed up for both. I think the admitted students day is a broad overview of the college, whereas Monroe is just specific to Monroe program.

You should definitely sign up for both. Day for Admitted Students covers what W&M can offer you as a whole (mock lectures, student and parent panels, sessions on residence life, service, research, study abroady, academic advising and much more will be available). The Monroe weekend focuses much more on the Monroe program specifically.

W&M Admissions, S signed up for the Monroe weekend. We will not be able to get down to Wmsbg until early afternoon on Sat. If he signs up for the Day for Admitted Student portion, will we be easily able to participate in the afternoon? Thanks for all ya’ll do.

berliner, depends on what time you arrive on campus. Day for Admitted Students concludes around 3:00 p.m. (some optional activities take place between 3:00 and 4:00). What time do you think you’ll be on campus?

Admissions…We will be driving from the DC area.Traffic is always a mystery. I am planning to get to Wmsbg around 12-1pm. Is that early enough to participate? Thanks again.

berliner, that will allow you to participate in about half of the days events (of four sessions, the third starts at 12:50 and the fourth starts at 2:00). The lunch and activities fair begins at noon so if you do arrive that early you’ll get to do a lot. When you arrive, go to the Office of Undergradate Admission to get a schedule and you can participate in any part of the day that’s still available.

Do we need to register for Admitted Day on April 16th if we want to attend?

Yes, we ask admitted students to register for any of the admitted student events they hope to attend. The admit pack your invitation insert as a URL for the Day for Admitted Students page and we will send that link to you in a PM. We also encourage you, while registering for Day for Admitted Students, to purchase lunch tickets for your party.
