My D and I are attending Admitted Student Day at Fordham LC tomorrow - has anyone been? How is it? Any advice on what we can do while there aside from the program? My D is interested in Communications, Public Health and Spanish so would be great to learn more about those specific programs and internship opportunities. Thanks in advance.
We just attended on Friday 2/21. The admitted student day was very good we felt. Lots of boiler plate information on Why Fordham by the Dean of admissions but the second presentation where they had Dean of the FCRH, was very informative and especially they were very good at answering any questions afterwards. The campus tour was very thorough and liked the dorms and the renovations underway for campus center. Overall nothing spectacular but better than other campus visits we have had. The visit also eliminated any concerns we have had about being in a rough neighborhood etc. as the campus is self-contained. Few additional nuggets, free laundry in the dorms. Also they have residence communities around science, community service, leadership etc and that was interesting to know as well.
