Yes, so is the itinerary the e-ticket?

fortuna, go to the ticket counter of whatever airlines Amherst booked you on, give them your name, I.D. and flight number. They will give you your boarding pass, and you are ready to go! Your itenerary is just for your info, it is not an airline document.

haha…i dare everyone to have a tag with their cc name…

I just realized i have to pay for my checked bags, i think. Im just wondering if this is really true…i wouldnt have to pay $25 if i didnt need to take my sleeping bag…

@vane1vanela: I am using a carry on for my sleeping bag and it fits just fine. I will be able to stuff some clothes in there and the rest of my clothes will go inside my ‘personal item’ aka my really big purse. I will not be checking in a bag, both because of the price and the hassle of checking in the bag and what will happen if your bag gets lost? Where will you be then?

To everyone who is going: hope to see you tomorrow! I can’t wait to start meeting my classmates!

Hey guys, I know that (at least for the diversity open house people) you received an email with final details on it…one of which said “casual dress.” However, Amherst DOES have a reputation…sooo…how formal/casual are you guys dressing? Collars a must or what? Jeans vs dress pants vs khakis?

(I’m a guy if thats not obvious already lol)

I’m wearing jeans and blouses/t-shirts…I’m taking casual as casual, haha (i’m a girl, obv). When i visited a while ago most people were wearing shorts, flip flops, etc…so I don’t think it’s necessary to go with a collared shirt but go ahead if you wanna!

Blouses have collars ;P

Wish I could go, but QB people can’t. :< Have fun, guys!

@vivouix: QB people can go; I’m a finalist and one of the girls that I met was matched with Amherst. Did they tell you specifically that you couldn’t go?

Just wear whatever you would normally wear, assuming it isn’t grossly inappropriate.

When I visited for the first DIVOH, I wore a polo, with jeans. The next day, I wore an AC/DC shirt, with jeans. No big deal.

@spiritualwitch: They said only those that are still deciding about whether or not they should attend Amherst were going. D:
I feel cheated now. ;P

@vivouix: I was already decided and apparently neglected to read that part. Oh well; they still paid for me to go! You’ll see it all soon enough :D

So how was it? Anything fun or interesting?

bsu/pond parties, a capella concert, and asian market.
'nuff said

I loved the a capella concert! They all sounded so great especially the group that did the boy band formula song!
