<p>Hi all!</p>

<p>By some random will of the gods, I was admitted to UChicago's Class of 2019.</p>

<p>Along with the acceptance letter, I was also invited to attend a "reception honoring the admitted students of the Class of 2019."</p>

<p>It is at the home of a University Trustee in San Francisco.</p>

<p>Does anyone know anything about this?

<p>i got the same invite! sf too! #norcalpower i believe it’s just a way to see what you’re getting into for kids who aren’t sure if they’re going to be attending and can’t go to one of the overnight fly-ins.</p>

<p>Hi, I went to one of these in New York City. They’re usually in very impressive homes - but there will be alumni there and other admitted students just talking about what their experience at UChicago was like, congratulating you, etc. It should be super chill. And good food there, too, of course.</p>

<p>apologize for the mistake. Apparently they do, but I just haven’t received anything yet in the mail. </p>

<p>@crtexxx‌ It’s fine! I haven’t received anything in the mail, either. I’m assuming they sent/send it out a little bit after the initial online release.</p>

Acceptances will be in your mailboxes sometime in the next week. Someone confirmed it on the Class of 2019 Facebook page :slight_smile: </p>

BTW, do we need turn in mid year report or just the final report when we graduate in May?</p>
