Does anyone have any input on these two visit options? My son needs to pick a date to visit and is not sure if one option would be better than the other.
Last summer we did an Experience day and really enjoyed it. In fact my D made her decision after that visit that she wanted to come to ISU, before that visit ISU was her back up school. We did do a second fist in the Fall but I don’t recall if it was a designated Admitted Student visit. Both our visits were very similar, however our second one was a much smaller group.
We did a similar Experience and Admitted student visit with my older D at another University and I think in general they are all very similar in what they offer. I would pick the one that best fits your calendar for the visit and go with it.
We go in early June for her Orientation and that’s were you really learn the most details since at that point you are pretty much committed to attending.
Honestly, this being my second time through the college process I must say I have been very impressed with Iowa State’s communication. They by far have been the best of all the many schools we’ve visited and both my D’s have been accepted to.
She’s excited for the Fall to come and starting her journey as a Cyclone.
