In my.fordham.edu, in the student tab, it says to upload a picture for the student ID? Can it just be a photo of my face? Has anyone done it yet? How does it work for freshmen students in the past?

We did it last year. It’s just a photo of your face, like any ID card photo you might want to use. Make sure you do it before orientation, otherwise stuff gets delayed.

So it can be just a casual picture of my face?

You will need identification on the campus, beginning the first day of move in orientation in September. Thus, by uploading a picture, they can make your Fordham ID in advance and you wont have issues gaining access to dorms, cafeteria, gym, etc. So pick a picture of yourself that you like, sufficient to identity yourself in an ID card.

Welcome to Fordham.

If it helps, I just used my senior HS yearbook picture and it was fine. Others I see used more casual photos and that worked as well.

Where on the portal do you see that?
