Was accepted yesterday to CLA
OOS
ACT: 32
GPA: 3.97 unweighted
Class Rank: 10/390
Lost of art, theatre, and volunteering EC’s as well as work experience with owning a business.
Does anyone know if I have to actually enroll for them to consider me for scholarships?
@samikhan It’s hard to tell. You have an amazing ACT score but you’re GPA (and class rank, I’d assume) are on the lower end. If you’re going to be accepted I’d guess 3-5 weeks.
@samikhan To give you an idea, S’s app to CSE was complete in early Sept. He has 35 ACT (including 36 in math), 4.02 wgpa, 12 AP including this year, OOS and we haven’t heard yet either…
Thanks for this link. My son was admitted to Minnesota into CSE. He wants to study Computer Engr or EE. He also applied to Iowa State (admitted), Purdue, Case Western and Ohio State. Awaiting decisions on last three.
It was interesting to see how they all ranked to one another.
In the long run it will come down to merit aid and where he feels he fits the most. Although Minnesota is #1 closely followed by Purdue.
