@catmss24 - The application tracker shows DS was accepted to the honors program, the message also details that a letter is being sent about acceptance to the honors program.
I’m right below the threshold for honors and don’t feel like I’ll get invited
I honestly forgot if I applied for honors at Minnesota or not. Is there anyway to tell other than memory?
@Emminey you’re automatically considered, there’s no extra app!
@freezycool Awesome! Then I hope I’m accepted into honors
Anyone try to access the application tracker using an Android device? If so, have you had any luck. I just get a blank screen when I try to access using my android cell phone or tablet.
@BrewCrew82 you have to use computers. Trust me, I tried really hard to get it to work on my iPhone.
My son’s application was complete on Oct. 19, and he was accepted to CSE today (Wisconsin resident). This is his first acceptance, so we’re pretty excited!
@Mtriplee Congrats! what were his stats?
Completed on October 25, accepted to CSOM today
OOS CA
35 ACT
3.98 UW GPA
@vvfor3 his stats are high, and similar to other CSE acceptances I’ve seen.
His school is small, however, and there are drawbacks associated with that: zero AP/IB classes, very few clubs and academic extracurricular offerings, etc. IMO, that’s where he might not compare well with other applicants, though he is very dedicated to the extracurriculars he does.
Checked the application tracker this morning to find I was admitted to CLA
Applied 9/2
OOS - from Ohio
GPA: 3.88 or something weighted
5 honors classes, 3 AP’s
ACT: 30
More EC’s than I could fit in the boxes haha
