We have unfortunately just learned that son has conflict on April 11 which will make him unable to attend admitted students day. I wish Stony Brook offered more than one of these. He has submitted a request to visit on a day where he can have an opportunity to sit in on a physics class, since that will be his major. But I wonder how much he will be missing out by not being able to take part in admitted students day. His other schools offer at least two or more opportunities. He has already visited and taken a tour earlier this year before he even applied.
If he’s doing visit a class and he’s done the info session/tour, then that’s pretty good. Due to the volume of our ASD, we just don’t have the ability to do more than one. If you miss it, it’s not the end of the world; he’ll get a lot out of the VAC program.

@sbuadmissions thanks Chris. We’re still waiting to get a confirmation on the class visit. Hopefully that will work out.
