I went to explore USC because I was a scholarship finalist, and now I know I want to go to USC. However, my parents won’t let me go to USC for admitted students day or spring break to visit again because last second plane tickets are really expensive. Will I be missing out on a lot or are the explore days and admitted students days similar in how they’re set up? I just don’t want to look back and regret not going
yeah im also wondering how important this event is
It will be redundant. They are trying to sell you and you have already been sold at Explore USC. Truly, you won’t miss anything except another stroll around campus, a lunch with a free USC water bottle. Sure you can meet more people, but you have lots of opportunities ahead to do that. Don’t get me wrong, it is great the first time you do this kind of thing at USC or any school, and it is very celebratory, but basically, you have already done it. Then there is orientation…you have lots of time at USC, don’t sweat it. Save your money, you will need it over the next four years!
@CADREAMIN Thanks for the advice. We haven’t been to Explore USC but plan to go to the Admitted Student Days as we will be flying in from abroad.
Yes, if you haven’t seen USC, then Admitted Student’s day is a must if you are able - glad you can go @Greensat!
And Congratulations!
@jackc10 - I agree with @CADREAMIN - I don’t think it’s necessary to go back if you’ve already seen the school and have a good feel for it. I think your time is better spent looking at the differences in curriculum of your acceptances to make your final decision. If you KNOW that you’re going to USC I think the admitted student stay not necessary.
It seems like the explore USC event doesn’t include a tour of the housing but the admitted day does… Is that true?
