<p>My son is going by himself. He is flying into San Jose. From the Stanford site, getting from the airport to campus seems complicated. Plus, the Marguerite doesn't operate on the weekend. A taxi or shuttle would cost about $50 one way. Any suggestions?</p>

<p>Take a Supershuttle to campus. Stanford has a discount deal with them that will get you to campus for $17 from San Jose (I'm not sure if this deal applies only during the vacations, but you should call supershuttle and ask for their rate). The other option is to take the Caltrain, which is really cheap.</p>

<p>SuperShuttle is a commercial service. Call their 1800 number and reserve. They will take about 10 people and drop everyone off where they are going.</p>
