College | ACT Score | SAT Score | High School Class Rank
Business 27 - 31 1250 - 1390 86% - 96%
Arts/Sci 26 - 30 1200 - 1390 81% - 95%

of course, act scores and gpa don't make a candidate, but it's always useful to know how one numerically compares to the rest of the applicants.

EDIT: grumble, my spacing doesn't seem to work. anyway, i'm sure you people can figure it all out. anyway, the website is both prettier and more complete, so i suggest you go there instead of using my incomplete, poorly spaced data.

Well I suppose I get to post even though I may not have gotten into the school I wanted.

In state

I applied sometime around late November/early December and I found out on December 13. My admit decision came pretty quickly.

How did everyone get accepted so fast? Most of you got accepted in 1 week?!?!

I'm not really sure what's up with the admission system because two of my friends applied in November (both before the priority deadline) and I got my admit decision before both of them and I applied later... I'm not sure if it's because I'm a minority or because I had better stats than them or what... hmmm.

maybe their stuff got burried...but i would bet that it was the computer's doin. You just had better stats and they postponned decision on the others until they had more applications to give them a better idea of what they would and wouldnt be taking this year.

A lot of people was auto-admitted with 1400/2060+ SAT scores once they received their transcripts. Could 1400/2000 be the cut-off score for the computer to auto-admit an applicant?

I sent in everything by late December and a decision was made (online) in late January. I was really surprised I got in, I also know 3 other people from my school (2 of which have decided to attend) that were accepted.
My stats:
from NJ
SAT: 2060 (verbal 700, math 690, writing 670)
GPA: 3.75 weighted (pretty weak but oh well)
I've taken 5 AP's, my courses this year are:
Honors Physics, Honors Orchestra, AP Spanish, Calculus A, World Lit A, Human Behavior, AP Statistics; I had 1 B and the rest A's for my 1st semester.
I'm very involved in cello/orchestra (Regions, All State, NJ Youth Symphony) and have played tennis and softball for all four years (varsity for junior/senior years).
Clubs: Key Club, Asian Club
I also 4 tutor cello students...
That's about it! My stats aren't so great, so I'm not sure what got me in. Seeing other people's stats on this site make me feel very lucky...
Good luck to everyone else :)

From what I hear very few from my school are getting in to Uof I this year and even less into business and engineering. In the past my school
we have at least 130-150 kids get in, not this year.
