Admitted Students Visitation Days

Anyone have info on dates, schedule, etc. for admitted students to visit Pomona? Believe the dates are in April.

April 13 or April 20.

Thanks!

Does anyone know the schedule yet? Trying to decide if we can fly in that morning or if we have to come the night before and stay in a hotel.

@Corinthian‌ on the website it says 8:45 am to 4:00 pm

Thanks!

The admitted student days were really fun and well run last year. I’d highly recommend going if you’re able.

Not clear on what the Pomona admitted student days schedule is for tomorrow (Monday, April 13). Anybody know?

8:45 am Registration at Bridges
9:15 am Welcome by David Oxtoby
10:00 am Visit Class or Student Life Panel
11:00 Visit Class
Noon Lunch
1:15 Tours
2:45-4:30 Departmental Open House

Parent schedule is slightly different but also starts at Bridges

Thanks Corinthian! How did you find the schedule? My daughter wasn’t aware of it.

This answer is a little late but the schedule was on the portal. We had a great time. My D ditched me within 30 seconds of arriving, which was fine. She met lots of other nice “prospies” and enjoyed every minute. The presentation to parents was very well done. Good faculty panel and then student life panel, great lunch with students and admission folks, lots of mini tour choices, and good departmental fair. Everything was well organized.

How I wish my daughter and I could go! But traveling to California wasn’t in our April budget. Oh well, we were on campus two times last year, and there will be orientation. She hasn’t made her final decision but I’m thinking Pomona’s pretty much there

Pomona is a great school! My son is just finishing his freshman year and has had a great experience thus far. He has made great friends, has wonderful, supportive professors, challenging classes, and he is so glad he chose Pomona! A big welcome to all of you!

Thanks again, Corinthian and everyone else. My D finally got it all figured out and was registered by the time I arrived (she stayed at a dorm the night before). I was likewise quickly ditched and likewise fine with it. I agree that it was extremely well organized, and I liked the separate students and parents tracks. The faculty and student panels were a particular highlight. My D is already committed, having applied ED1, but this visit just cemented her decision. I’m envious!
