What are you doing this summer? Any ideas?

I don't know, but I hope to get a good job. Something that will hold me over until September, when I will still hanging around and my friends are all at their respective colleges. How about you?

I don't really know ... I can't decided on a job that would be worth the time. I'm thinking about doing some work at a historic site and then doing some independent study/vegging out.

sleeping, eating, hanging out, numbing my mind with tv and video games

going to sri lanka first (volunteer work/peace conference) for a week, then to europe with my friends for a month!!!! italy, czech republic, prague!!! n then watching tv, reading books which i never had the time to read in high school, n just completley chilling out... also stanford shopping :)!

I'm going to my brother's wedding in Bulgaria (he's marrying a Bulgarian girl). I think it'll be interesting- it's certainly a new experience, lol. Other than that I will probably be relaxing and enjoying summer.

I may read, or study...so i won't be the stupidest person at Stanford.

or something.

hanging out with friends, definitely, hopefully we will be able to organize a trip to Maine or Bermuda or sumthin
reading (haha...new Harry Potter, that'll keep me bottled up for at least a day)

Ohh! Yes, collegehopeful! Harry Potter is a KEY reason for me to stay near home. I'll be lurking by the door when Amazon makes that delivery ... two entire days of my life will be devoted to it. (Dork alert! I can't help it!)

senior trip to disneyland, then a few of us are going to go on a long vacation in different parts of Asia, maybe teach English in some schools in China, visit my host family from a while back. working, reading, catching up on movies that people say i should see but i never do...keep taking a few (nonacademic) classes here and there... get my butt into shape again..., etc. *shrug. just CHILLIN. recharging my brain for higher education.

maybe i'll drive over to our college-to-be and check out the neighborhood, what there is to do around there, start getting used to the suburbs, feel? :-D

Go off to india to visit relatives, chill with friends before we all part.

Trip to Japan (Tokyo is the best city ever), then China. Probably need a summer job to pay for the $4500 contribution Stanford thinks I have. Other than that, bumming. But that's what this semester is for ^__^
