So I sent in my EA app to Tulane a few days ago, and today I check the portal and it says
“Congratulations!
You have been admitted, and we welcome you to the Tulane family. You will soon receive a formal admission letter and invitations to special programs for admitted students. In the meantime, we encourage you to visit the Admitted Students section of our website.”
So am I reading this correctly? I got admitted? So fast? Confused.
While it could be totally true, it does seem fast. Maybe call admissions tomorrow. We’ve all heard terrible stories of mistake emails going out. If it was 2 or 3 weeks from now, I’d have a different response. My DD got a 3 day response, but it was from a state school and she’d met the minimum requirements. So it does happen… but Tulane??
@phoenixmomof2 oh yeah, that would be terrible if it was a mistake! I did email an admissions officer about something and he said he was reading my application so hopefully its correct! While Tulane is not my top top choice, would still like to know haha. Thanks!

@akpDC98 I contacted admissions and confirmed I’ve been admitted! Hope that means your decision wasn’t a mistake too!
Some people have been hearing back very quickly, I would say you are accepted! Congratulations!
