Admitted Transfer Student- D in spring course

I had to deal with some personal problems and this resulted in me getting a D on my pre-calc final which gives me a D for the course. Will my admission be revoked? Will Cal Poly allow me to retake the course during summer school and passing it then? It is a 6 week course at the beginning of summer and if I get a C or better on it will they keep me admitted?
Thanks

Of course, the first thing you need to do is contact the admissions office. I HEARD Cal Poly is really good with working with students that have already been admitted. My GUESS is that yes, they will let you take the class locally this summer before going up to Cal Poly. But don’t automatically take my word for it.

I personally was not able to get into a chemistry class this spring semester at my local community college and after careful consideration, Cal Poly agreed to let me take it at Cal Poly when I go up there in the fall. But that situation is a little but different. Anyways, call the admissions office. They will help you out from there.

Thanks for the positive reply. I contacted them and sent them an email regarding my situation. I was stoked beyond belief to get into Poly. I ended up getting 3 A’s and a D this semester. Once I found out I bombed my Statistics final my heart stopped. Havent really been able to exhale since. Hopefully it will all work out but waiting out this limbo I am in is intense. If things dont work out its going to be a tough one to swallow…How long did it take for them to get back to you with their decision?
Thanks

I had a friend who was going to get a D in his class, and they told him to just drop the class because they wouldnt let him take it over Summer and the person had a psychologist stating his issues and such. Sorry dude but prepare for bad news if you have not already got it
