Hey has anyone been admitted yet? or when do admission acceptions/rejections go out? how do they send acceptance letters out? e-mail? letter? phone call? thanks

I ask this because my friend in Houston says he was admitted last week or so, via e-mail.

my guidance counselor said that Cal and UCLA sometimes come out a little later than that...they get staggered most of the time because there's so many applications.

On the UC Web Site it says March 1st. And as a potential xfer student I received an email saying as early as March 15th transfer students would find out. This has been consistent across all the UCs I applied to.

The UC campuses start to post decisions on March 1st. The campuses are staggered during the month of March. Historically, CAL posts decisions last on March 31st.

After your applications and financial aid forms are all done, try to forget that you are waiting and find something else to do. Prepare for APs, join a play, paint a picture, write a book. It's only 78,173 minutes from now, but don't hold your breath.

yea...UC decisions start rolling out in March. Some come in early March, some mid march, and some late march...UCLA and Cal aren't any differerent...I found this in the University of California viewbook.

okay yes. UC decisions start march1 and end march 31. they are rolling from that period for the different UC's. and in this period, CAL comes out last, on march 31. end of story.

no sooner, no later. decisions are posted on the internet on march 31.
