<p>ok so a bunch of people at my school looked themselves up in the Uillinois directory. and some of them are in it, and some are not. so if they already put u in the directory does that mean ur in?? does anyone know what thats about?</p>

<p>I'm not sure if we can assume anything from this. It seems odd that they would already put us in the directory and assign an email address because we haven't given them our decision yet.</p>

<p>It seems as if they are doing this for in-staters only. Because out of the three people who applied at my school, none of them were there and my good friend is valedictorian with a 4.0 UW GPA and a 34 on the ACT, so dont try to scare us out-of-staters</p>
<p>I don't think this means anything. I think it says left: 12/2206 because that is when they will be taking your name out of the directory. You will be put back in if you decide to enroll, that is if you are accepted to begin with.</p>
<p>Not everyone's name is in the directory.... why would they take the time to add your name to the directory if they weren't going to admit?</p>
<p>We have tested this out, we are in state, and some are in the directory and some are not. We believe it is because certain colleges such as engineering have submitted their names, but not necessarily all the colleges. Last year my son in Engineering received his info in a matter of days; they seem to be quick. But I have definately found one in-state engineering person in the directory. So far, I can't find anyone from LAS.</p>

and i found people in LAS the most, and a few in engineering. but cant find any for business.</p>

<p>I don't know how to say this but I think it might mean you guys were rejected....?? Here's my belief. I am at UIUC right now and it says created 2/2006. I had a friend who applied, got in, but refused admittance and when you look him up it says he was created 9/2005 but left the same month because he declined the acceptance. So I dunno, maybe i'm wrong!</p>

<p>i dont think it is a rejection... i searched the name of the valedictorian at my school and their name is on the list, along with a lot of other smart people</p>
