Using an IPad Air 2, and using Safari to access CC.
Cell: Android 7, Chrome. Laptop: Chrome.
Happens even if an ad doesn’t load.

It’s still happening to me on a Windows 10 PC using Firefox. I have an ad blocker installed but it happens whether the ad blocker is disabled or enabled. I have to wait a few beats before clicking on a thread or else I’ll click the wrong thing when the page jumps.
No change on iPhone, still jumps.
Same as vonlost, still a problem.
No change on Chrome for Windows.
No change,laptop or cell.
Anyone think this started when the first larger ads appeared? End of April–

I know that this is a big ask, but can someone maybe take a video/screenshot of the issue? We are not really able to replicate this at our end.
It is hard to screen shot because it is motion while the screen loads. The screen loads without the ad, then the ad is inserted last and the rest of the page moves downward when this happens.

The interval before it drops is a shred longer. But you can see it jump down.
Hard to capture in video…but it’s still doing it. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve ended up in the chances forum when I thought I was hitting financial aid.
Now the pages are jumping around on my desktop. And I have an ad blocker, so it’s not an issue of ads loading. It really is annoying.
Guys, thank you all for your valuable contribution in getting to the bottom of the issue. The tech team has taken measures to improve the user experience on the site, but it seems like these did not fully solve the matter. While they will continue to look for ways to optimize things, we do not have an estimate on when the problem will disappear completely. I’ll update you when we have news.
