Adult student from community college with 4.0, where to transfer?

Hello guys. I am a 24 (let say 25 in 2011) year-old guy. I didn't go to college after graduating from highschool and now I am coming back on track to get a college degree. I actually immigrated to the Texas in late 2009 and have been enrolled in a community college since Spring 2010. Before my immigration to Texas, I was born in Vietnam and lived in Holland several years.

I will be graduating with my Associate Degree (64 credits) in Spring 2011. I currently have 4.0 GPA and am confident of maintaining that (however, to be sure, let's say I graduate with 3.8). I am VP of Scholarships at my school's Phi Theta Kappa chapter. I also had 2 years working experience on a manager-level as Business Development Manager of a medium company before I immigrated to Texas but now I am a full-time student therefore I am a little bit tight on financial and would prefer colleges with generous scholarships (perhaps meeting my full-need).

May anyone suggest a good school that will likely to accept me? Do you think that my age will be a big issue?

At the moment I am considering Vanderbilt, USC, U Rochester, U Miami, Rice. Probable?

If you have Texas residency, the University of Texas at Austin is a good overall school at a decent rate. It may be your best bet.

Your age is not an issue. Do a bit of research on “non-traditional age students” at the places that you would like to transfer to. There may be a special office at those universities dedicated to issues particular to non-trad students. Among the things that you need to find out, is where you can live. Often non-trad students can live in graduate student housing.
