Just felt like reminding everyone now that AP test are today to never discuss the multiple choice questions and answers and not to discuss the free response within two days of testing (to be safe, just wait until the questions are posted at CB.com, which is usually in two days).

youre lame

hardly anybody on this forum ever abides by CB guidelines....as for example when every SAT I/II weekend hundreds of east coast users post not only the answers, but the questions themselves before Hawaii students even enter their testing rooms

it
s true that many students do break the rules in the forums, but it
s better to be on the safe side and not discuss it.

i wonder if anyone has ever been banned on the CC forums because of violating the discussion rules....

You want to mess with the College Board don't you?

Before you start MESSING with the College Board, go give me an IM at "dmo580." I'll tell you from a first hand experience what it's like to be CAUGHT by the College Board, "discussing" AP tests on THIS FORUM RIGHT HERE. Then maybe you'll have second thoughts about posting stuff.

If you do that, you're just tempting fate. Don't. To paraphrase Terry Pratchett, it's like standing in a tub of water, on top of a hill, wearing copper armor, during a thunderstorm, holding a sword aloft and yelling "All gods are bastards."

Seriously, though, you have no idea how far the consequences of such an action can reach. It can haunt you for the rest of your life. The easiest way to avoid trouble is to just not discuss any test, be it SAT, AP, or IB. It's really not that hard to do. College Board and IBO probably read this forum, since it's a very popular one, and because they know that morons, like those East Coast users mentioned, will always try to get away with cheating or rule-breaking. Just stay out of their way. IBO and CB are very powerful and they won't hesitate to take action against you if you break their rules. It's so simple to obey their rules, yet some people just don't seem to be able to. Those people are stupid. Don't be one of them.

haha, I remember this kid, Tri_N from last year who got busted, poor kid

All you have to do is check last year's archives on the old forum to see what happened. Several posters who discussed the AP questions were tracked down and notified by the CB that their scores were invalidated. Don't risk it!

I never said I wanted to mess with the CB/CC, I just reminded everyone else about what we all witness seven times a year.

MzLover3: I know, my rant wasn't directed at you. It was directed at the idiots you were talking about - who post SAT questions and answers before some people have taken it.

i thought the east coast and west coast people take it at the same time. (for example, NYC - 10:00AM, SF - 7:00AM) i remember several months ago where a student in singapore was busted for asking the Q&A`s from an east coast student. i think they changed it to make everyone take it simultaneously, do they not?

People on the east coast take the exam at 8AM, not 10 AM. That was what we did for English Language today.

Is it teechnically legal for East coasters to talk about the SAT after it was administered ( I migh tneed to go back and delete some posts)

david218: I reckon it is, as long as you did so an appreciable time after the test was over. Because of time differences and such (I'm not really aware of the details) some people take the test before others, and CB doesn't like people posting Q's and A's while some people are still to take the test. To be safe, I'd wait a couple days.

the policy is that we are not to talk about it...ever...

WAIT WE'RE NOT SUPPOSED TO TALK ABOUT MC QUESTIONS EVER???

what the hell? i thought we had 48 hours

48 hours is for free response

really? the proctor told us we are not to discuss it ever

sx91 - i don`t know what time the east coast takes it. it was just an example. people on the west coast begin taking it at 730AM, not 7AM.

I heard one of the penalties for cell phone etc. fraud is that your school is no longer allowed to administer APs

...that would be so awesome!!
