<p>Would colleges rather see you take only somewhat accelerated courses and do really well on them or repeatedly test out to get into higher courses and get slightly poorer grades? I've noticed this discussion is a bit like the AP vs. regular course discussion, however, no one has really given a definitive answer on which one colleges prefer?</p>
<p>Accelerated is fine within 9th and 10th grades (I should’ve done that and I do indeed regret it instead of APs and Honors). </p>
<p>11th and 12th are the grades where they expect you to take APs and Honors classes. </p>
