This might be kind of a stupid question, but I've obviously never done this before, and I'm confused.
In the welcome packet it said that admitted students should submit the advance enrollment deposit within four weeks of admission, but what if we don't know what school we are going to attend? I've applied to seven schools and it's all going to come down to money, so I won't know where I'm going until the spring.
So how an I supposed I submit a deposit within four weeks when I'm not at all ready to commit to a school? Are all schools like this and I've just missed it, or is it unusual? And do I really need to go through the entire process of accepted enrollment before I even know if I'm going to school there?
I'm so confused

I’m pretty sure you can get your money back if you ask to get it back before like May 1st, at least that’s what I remember.

So I have to submit the AED sooner rather than later?

Yeah, you can send it in and then ask for it back by the deadline (I distinctly remember May 1st but maybe it’s different now) then they’ll refund it. If you think there’s any chance you might go to MSU, then I would send it just to be safe.

Okay, thanks!

You don’t have to put any money down until May 1st if you don’t want to, but housing and orientation dates tend to be better if you deposit earlier.

Your AED is completely refundable until May 1st. If you want to cancel, just login to your student portal and click the cancel button.
