"Advanced Math" Non-AP Calculus?

Hi, I’m currently a Senior and looking at applying for Cal Poly.

One of the criteria I saw for MCA was “Advanced Math”.

In high school so far I’ve taken Geometry, Algebra 2/Trig, Trig/Precalc, and am currently taking normal Calculus.

Does normal calculus count as an “Advanced Math” course? I’ve read that the only calc courses that count are AB and BC, and I’m not sure where I stand by taking normal calculus. Here is the course description from our school:

CALCULUS
Grade Level: 12
Length: 1 year
Prerequisite: Successful completion of Trig/Pre-Calculus and teacher recommendation
Graduation: Fulfills one year of math requirement
College prep: CSU/UC a-g approval pending
This course is a not an Advanced Placement course. Some students are not prepared for AP Calculus but they do have the
skills to be successful in an introductory Calculus course. Students will study the basic calculus concepts of a first semester
college Calculus course. Since the course is not AP, the pace of this Calculus course will be slower and this should allow
students the opportunity to be successful in this introductory course. The course will support the standards listed above.

Ask directly if it is not clear to you.

Remember that if you take calculus in college, it will cover material at the speed that high school AP calculus BC will cover it.
