Advanced Methods of Integration

Hi,

How often does the BC exam require you to integrate functions involving powers of trig functions, partial fractions, and improper integrals?
To be able to integrate them, you need to memorize all the pythagorus identities like 1+(cot x)^2=(csc x)^2, power-reducing formulas like (sin x)^2=(1-cos2x)/2, and so on.
But I don't want to bother spending time on memorizing them.
Except for those three cases, I'm confident with integrating all other functions.
The BC exam will test only a very few questions requiring those techniques, right?

Thanks.

yea i don't think there will be many questions involving trig substitutions but it is not that hard. You don't need to know very many, so it won't kill you to memorize them in like 5 min.
