Advanced placement Overload?

So to start off, my name is Tyler, I am a junior in high school and am enrolled in a magnet math and science program with my school. I've been an A and B student my whole high school career. I scored 1850 on my SAT's w/o studying besides normal English/ Math class preparation. Now I have a small dilemma. Which classes to take next year! I have always performed well in math, science and computer science, however I also love art and photography and have performed well in those too. Though they aren't really my native subjects I've always done well in English and social studies classes also. Finally I am currently unsure of my major but definitely am feeling something along the lines of advertising arts.

For my junior year I took
AP Calc AB/ Calc rev.
GT Physics
AP Psychology
Hon English Language
Hon Us. history
Photography 1/2 (counts as standard but is considered a harder course)
General Health/ Advanced Health

I did pretty well this year and my hardest classes were GT physics and AP psych just cause I wasn't interested in it. I was offered to take alot more AP classes but I was nervous so I only chose AP calc b/c I am good at math and AP psych cause I heard it was easy. However not taking more has been a HUGE regret of mine b/c of how well I've performed in these classes this year.

My senior year schedule looks like this:
AP Studio Photography
AP Statistics
AP Chemistry (2 periods)
AP Lit
AP Calculus BC
AP Macro/Micro
STD Engineering (requirement)

So part of me feels fine. I got straight A's in calc AB and it's review class. BC has half a year of review and then a few new things so I think I'll ace it. I am not worried about Stat's for the same reason. AP Chem I am nervous about b/c people say it is the hardest science, but I got straight A's in GT Chem freshmen year and everyone said it was hard then, however this could be VASTLY different. I've talked to all of my senior friends in AP and Honors Lit and they all said that they think AP Lit at our school is FAR easier then Honors English lang. which I've achieved A's in. All the honors lit students regret not taking AP Lit.
Macro/Micro I am a little worried about B/c I have heard mixed things but I also know I have had the hardest honors U.S. teacher just short of APUSH and I've gotten all A's. Engineering is cake. Studio Photo I am nervous about b/c I feel like with all my classes I wont be able to take pictures, but I've done well in his photo classes thus far.

Here's my question:
Should I take AP art history? It's an online class that only I and another girl who I am friends with will take. It's probably more beneficial to my major and even if I change my major I still plan to minor or major in art and being online it could act as study hall some days. However B/c it's online I'm sure it's hard too keep up with and with lit and Econ I feel I'll have alot of reading already! If I do decide to take this course what should I drop? I need to take lit/ econ and engineering to graduate so I'd rather just take the AP levels of Lit and Econ. I feel I have done well in all my classes thus far while juggling a job and a social life, while still being able to keep up with chores and excess time still. Should I take AP art hist? Should I even take this many AP classes?

If you read this whole post you are like the most awesome person ever. I think you are great. even if you don't give me advice the fact you read my huge post is phenomenal. I'm rooting for you.

One of these things… is not like the other…

^^ AH you started to sing along… i heard you lol.

Anyway, with that in mind. Assuming you’re going to be in school learning to market… (which side of it are you on…) finding out what to market… then telling artists and producers to make billboards/commercials to go and do it…

or are you the artist or producer on the other side of that.

Senior year is your year to learn how to handle a college courseload, and also take courses and what you hopefully believe will be your major.

Math-- Calc BC dont get rid of it. espically if you know you’re doing well.

Same with Econ, many lucrative careers for economists. If you change your mind… and you find you love econ. Keep econ.

AP stats however… isn’t a true stat 101 course in college. Why? no calculus. This would be the first to cut if i were cutting courses.

Photo- Obviously something you truly enjoy doing keep

AP Chem-- my school doubles up on Calc AB to ensure students are able to make it through all the material… we aren’t the smartest. AP chem is hard… and more importantly very unrelated to your major. another one i would reconsider

Lit, like Lang are cores that every student should take. Lang more then lit though. See if you can get into AP Lang, not sure how much it compares to your english III but who knows. I’d perfer lang or lit, simply because it has more practical application.

Honestly… AP art history… (look up the review books) they are… roughly 600 pages long? There’s no cramming for AP art history… really you need to see if it has practical application to your major. which one should assume it does but who knows?

Talk with the Online provider instructor and ask. Oh… or if the girl is cute you should. Who knows what could happen? ;D

Good Luck
