Advanced science fair ideas?

I know this is not exactly the best forum to post this topic in, but anyone have any good science fair ideas for this year? An idea that would "wow" the judges...
I'm drawing a blank :| Help please :D

EDIT:: Crappy idea

shouldn't this reflect your own creativity?

lol. it's hard to imagine giving you an idea if some of us already have thought of ours :P

Anyhow isn't it a bit late to start thinking of ideas? For my science fair, the first round of apps were due october and the second round were due two weeks ago

A project of quality usually takes at least a few months to complete. You cant ask an open ended question like this and expect a quality answer. First, you did not tell what grade you are in (which is important for level of diffucult), secondly what category? Science research is very diverse and usually quality is found in a depth of an area. Also many high qualtity research projects require SRC approval and that deadline has passed. So it is improbable for you to actually do a project this year. Sorry.

What you should be doing is looking for research programs for you over the summer. There are TONS out there, if you care to spend a couple of thousands of dollars Boston University has one, and several other colleges and universities have summer science programs as well. Just google "summer science research program" there should be several options, and start in your area. But know that the programs that are free (or the ones that actually pay you--the Clark Scholars program at Texas Tech pays YOU about $700 or so and pays for you to do the research so it is free), are EXTREMELY competitive so you need to access your likelihood of getting in and apply appropiately.

Also know, that if you are doing this to get into college, activities such as science fair and a summer science program are probably comparable so even if you do not do a project this year it will not disadvantage you as long as you do something this summer.

Make a volcano. I swear, it will get you to ISEF, and then Harvard.
Seriously, most of us have been working since august for our projects...you can't expect an answer from us
