At my school, we are only allowed to take 2 APs in Junior Year. I took Comp Sci A, which I am sure I'll get a 5 on, and APUSH. I was having a TERRIBLE day for APUSH, and I might have gotten a 4.

I'm only taking 4 AP's next year, because I'm taking classes beyond AP: Linear Algebra, Differential Equations, Beyond AP Compsci.

In order to qualify for Advanced STanding, you need 5 5's on certain APs, right? If I get a 4 on APUSH, and if I get in, I can't. Compsci doesn't count, and since they eliminated AB, I can't get any credit for that...

Is there any way to appeal? This isn't a omfg your not going to get in thread, I understand the odds lol. I'm just wondering, in the off chance that I do get in, how do I deal with this? I'm taking classes that are harder than APs...it just doesn't seem right

Actually, one is required to have obtained scores of 5 on four AP exams that are recognized under the policy as one-credit courses to eligibly qualify for acceleration (four credits represents one full semester of credit). Those are as follows:

Below qualify as half-credit courses:
