Advanced Standing a Good Idea?

Is it a good idea to do advanced standing? I'm assuming most students don't do this? Is the 3.5 or 3 year graduation option more popular?

Mainly I'm just wondering if I should take AP English Literature on Thursday. Seems like a really dry test and I don't really want to go through with it.

I already have 5 AP/Princeton credits and so I can always take a term off and study abroad...

Just wondering what your thoughts/advice on this idea are.

I cannot think of a single reason other than finances that one would want to stay less than 4 years at Princeton. I'll probably end up staying more (so many cool courses to take). Very few students take advantage of advanced standing, and it makes the Princeton experience often harder and less enjoyable (need to focus more on your major with less room for fun and often easy electives). I really wouldn't recommend it much.
