Advantages/Chance me???

Ok, does being a Brazilian, first family in the United States for ten years with just my family, low financial background, and no offense, but uneducated parents give me an advantage? I want to go to a top Ivy League school. (I mean, who doesnt? lol) Anyway, I have a 4.00 GPA unweighted, 4.5 weighted, (freshman in high school) One AP and honor classes. Im taking three AP's and all honors next year. (also manage to be in French club, Debate, and volunteer on the weekends) This is also kind of like a chance me kind of question. So, what do you think? Is there a chance for me at Princeton or Yale, or other top schools?

You still have a while and things can change a lot in the next couple of years. It’s hard to tell without SAT scores and many of the other factors that a freshman may not be able to provide yet. That said, being a first generation college student can work in your favor. But, like I said earlier, it’s too early to tell.

You’re on the right track, but you really need to be further into your high school career for us to give you accurate feedback.

Focus on getting in to the college of your choice based on your own earned merit and not your parents’ perceived misfortune.
