<p>Was just recently accepted into the Humanitarian Engineering scholars program. Could someone please tell me the advantages of doing the Scholars Program please?</p>
<p>From what I can tell, you get to register for classes before regular students, you live together in a “community of like-minded individuals”, work on extracurricular projects together and take a course here and there that rounds you out. It is an honor but probably not for everyone so I wouldn’t feel obligated just because you got in. My daughter got into the Media/Digital one, which interests her but not her major (zoology) so it will help round out her education and experience so she is going for it.</p>
