Advertising schools???

<p>I am having a hard time finding a school for advertising. I have found that there is a difference between advertising design and advertising communications. I am interested in the communications side of things. I am in school now and have about 20 credits of generals to transfer. I live in wisconsin but am willing to move anywhere in the U.S. I have found some private schools but the price is so high that I dont think I want to spend $70,000 on this. Any help would be appreciated. I have looked at a few schools like san jose state and another in illinois.

<p>I have a daughter looking to major in advertising. Many schools offer advertising within the College of Communications/Journalism. There is a website that lists advertising programs - search for Where Shall I Go Study Advertising. Some have advertising as a specific major, while others list it as a concentration within communication. Some schools that come to mind are Marquette, UIUC, Iowa State, Drake, and Michigan State. My daughter is only a junior so we haven't gotten too far in determining what is the best fit for her.</p>

<p>Syracuse seems to do well at placing grads.</p>

<p>Michigan State has bachelor's and master's degrees in advertising.</p>

<p>the VCU Adcenter, the School of Mass Communication’s graduate program in advertising, has also been ranked 1st in the nation by Creativity Magazine</p>
